http://www.stationv3.com/d/20061129.html <- hmm don't have any friends (or enemies for that matter) from us of a, so could someone explain this to me, didn't get it...
Being active reader (though only registered now for more than two years (yup I always end up voting v3, check my ip heh) or so I'm intrigued station's going national ..? (this is the only one I've failed to understand so far).
I figure it's a saying (sorry don't know the exact English prhase... proverb? naah) but couldn't google versions of "we were never in kansas" or a variation of that/negative of that. Or could, but... check the answers yourself if you want some cheap fun I-net style. |

Welcome to the forum!
The line to Google would be "We're not in Kansas anymore," from The Wizard of Oz. (Said by Dorothy, the main character, to her dog Toto, after a tornado took her and her house from Kansas to Oz.)
After the unreality bubble took the shuttle from the planet to wherever it is now (and before the fourth panel in the 11/29 strip), Emmit apparently said that to Unit 6, who it seems is unfamiliar with the line.
I did wonder if anyone reading the strip would also be unfamiliar with the line, so I probably should have put up an explanation with it! _________________
