Wow!! All the Final four teams in the NCAA tournament this year are #1 seeds. If it's ever happened, it hasn't happened in a long time.

What gets is this: 59-57 final score in a game where a #1 seed played against a #10 seed. Sorry, by definition, that kind of game is supposed to be a blowout.

I don't watch basketball that much, but that surprised how close the game was.

I don't know about "supposed" to be a blowout - if that was true every time, there'd be no point in having the game! Smile

I expected a decent margin of victory considering the seed numbers. 5-10 point is expected and to me it shows me weakness on the part of the #1 seed. I did look it up This is the 1st time with the current system that all final four teams are #1 seeds.

In the 1st round of the tournament, when the #1 seed plays against the #16 seed, there's only been 1 time where the #1 didn't win. Certain things are predictable and I've learned that certain seed numbers don't have a prayer of making it through because of the structure of the tournament.

That's why I prefer a double elimination tournament.
