We're almost done discussing our own comics at this point (at least the main ones!) - so what are some other sci-fi comics anyone here reads (or writes) and enjoys? _________________

I don't have any in my bookmarks that haven't already been mentioned, but I think I'll plug my own:

Ooh, I likes me some Dresden Codak. It has been making me feel more than a little stupid and/or confused as of late, though. _________________

I was so excited when I (just now) saw the last few pages of Dresden Codak for the first time, I could not help but be a little disappointed when I went to back to the beginning and discovered that it's a stream-of-consciousness sort of thing and none of it really makes any sense. I take nothing away from what it really is -- I mean, Tiny Carl Jung... it doesn't get a whole lot better than that -- but I must admit that my heart skipped a beat, and is now weeping for the loss of something that never was. _________________ Jim Francis

I can add some:
Broken Mirror, which is a near-future story with virtual reality (hasn't updated in a couple months)
Crimson Dark, which is about one of those interstellar wars
Dicebox, a character driven story set in the space-traveling future
I still look forward to Girl Genius the most, though, of all the webcomics I read! But I've been a Phil Foglio fan for a looong time. _________________

Good grief, I can't believe I've only now noticed that I forgot to add the SF comic done by a couple of good friends of mine: Xeno's Arrow. It's the story of escapees from an intergalactic zoo, and it's brilliant and hilarious.
It isn't new-- the webcomic on Modern Tales is a gradual reissuing of the printed version from the '90s, but it's well worth reading. And when you're done enjoying it, write to Greg and tell him to get his butt in gear and start drawing new Xeno pages again, dammit. _________________

I am the writer/creator of the online comic book series Here There be Robots
It's the story of two friendly aliens and three maniacal robots that get sent back in time to the golden age of pirates. _________________ Here There Be Robots - A Webcomic about Aliens, Robots and Pirates.

I just found this site, looking forward to checking out some of these strips and podcasts. I'm already familiar with Jump Leads, which is awesome. _________________ Marooned - A Space Opera in the Wrong Key!

Do El Goonish Shive and Megatokyo count?
hmm... I also read Exterminaus Now, which combines SF with urban fantasy/horror and Sonic the Hedgehog-style art
Darths and Droids is a Star Wars redub. Since Star Wars is definitely a SF series, I feel confident in assuming a redub of it would be similarly Science Fiction.
Turns out most of my comic readery is Urban Fantasy... but then, that's what Rage Factor was intended to be.(no link, I've plugged it quite enough around these parts. Especially since I haven't updated in a year.) |

I'd like to submit my own comic, Cosmic Dash, to this list. |

Great! Welcome to the forum!
(None of the comics are displaying for me, though... Tried Firefox on Linux and IE8 on Windows. Other images are displaying fine, including the fan art section.) _________________
